- 1 Day Course: Sexual Orientation, Bullying and Homophobia
Teachers attending this training day must have completed the 2 days Introductory Training for SPHE and the 2 days Junior Cycle RSE training.

- This inservice will address the issues related to sexual orientation and explore what homophobic bullying means. It will provide an opportunity to consider a variety of approaches and lesson plans to sensitively and effectively address these issues in the SPHE class. It will challenge participants to reflect on their own attitudes and how they might influence behaviour in relation to appreciating and accepting difference as well as exploring what the whole school community can do to promote equality and reduce discrimination.
