SUBSTANCE USE AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Target Group: Teachers attending this training day must have completed the 2 days Introductory Training for SPHE.

Course Aims: This course will provide an opportunity for participants to explore their own attitudes, values and knowledge re, Substance Use. It will introduce them to a variety of lesson plans and methodologies to deliver the Substance Use Module in JC SPHE. Participants will also become familiar with the ‘Under the Influence’ DVD resource to assist them with classes and discussions on Alcohol use.
