This course is for teachers of physics who are new to the profession or new to the revised physics syllabus. It is usually a 2-3 day course with day one participants agreeing a suitable day for day 2 and a day 3 in school laboratory is usually in second term. Day 1 looks at the structure and content of the syllabus and teacher guidelines. It also focuses on good classroom teaching and learning practices as well as giving participants a hands-on experience to master the skills required in carrying out experiments. A network is also set up where the participants can communicate with each other electronically to support issues that may arise between day 1 and day 2. It is organized for two venues nationally.
