- To explore the human search for meaning and its expression in modern culture.
To examine the thinking of key philosophers on the human search for meaning.
To appreciate the importance of symbol-making as an expression of the search for meaning.
To be aware of the connection between the search for meaning, the need to question and the beginnings of faith.
To share examples of good practice in teaching these topics.
